GLOBAL SCHOLAR AWARD

ASV has established the Global Scholar in Virology Awards to provide financial support for talented virologists working around the world to attend and present their work at the ASV annual meeting. This award is for Global Virology Scholars to attend the annual ASV meeting, covering up to $3,000 in expenses.

To be eligible, applicants must be performing research activities in low to middle income countries as defined by Wellcome Trust using criteria from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The award is open to scientists at all academic levels, but preference will be given to those who are at a level equivalent to Assistant Professor and who present their work at this meeting.

Note: The deadline for Global Virology Scholar applications is Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m EST.
